With some positive news in what has been challenging year for us all, Sandycroft are pleased to announce the completion of two factory extensions for one of our most important clients in the manufacturing sector.
Working in conjunction with the team at Clancy Consulting Ltd, we have constructed circa 60,000ft2 of additional factory space and over 50,000ft2 of external works at our Client’s Glossop site in Derbyshire.
Constructed to Factory Mutual standards, the extensions were built to a fast-track programme whilst manufacturing continued. Built over two phases we needed to work closely with the Client’s manufacturing and logistics teams to ensure production was maintained.
The scheme included contractor designed mechanical & electrical systems, sprinkler systems, dock levellers and a drainage attenuation system.
Although the scheme delivery was impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic part-way through, we at Sandycroft put all our efforts behind minimising the impact on the project and have since received excellent feedback from the Client’s Managing Director.
