Works are progressing well at the Sir Stanley Matthews Academy with the steel frame up, floors cast and the SFS framework progressing well. We are looking forward to delivering these much needed classrooms and science labs for the Ormiston Academy Trust and Stoke-on-Trent City Council for the September term. It’s a fantastic JCT Design and Build project for Sandycroft and this educational scheme is a great addition to our design and build portfolio which covers healthcare, education, commercial and industrial sectors. Here at Sandycroft we are very proud to be involved in improving the Stoke-on-Trent area for our future generations.
Sandycroft aim to add social value to the local area during this BREEAM scheme with over 90% of those employed on these scheme coming from the North Staffordshire region. We are always looking to the future and this education scheme also offers great opportunity for the site manager Dominic Parker. Dominic is a recent graduate who’s coming through the ranks at Sandycroft and this scheme provides him with his first full site management role with the ongoing support of Contracts Manager, Phil Pearson.
