Mill Hill Primary School Extension
Mill Hill Primary School
This extension to a busy primary school was undertaken to create additional classrooms together with ancillary areas. The project designers required a sustainable construction and as such underfloor heating and air source heat pumps were employed.
Design and Construction Challenges:
- Working in a live school environment
- Restricted delivery times and routes
- Aligning the existing roof profile with the existing using an alternative specification
Conclusion
The project was completed within programme and under budget.
