Sandycroft’s civils and groundworks division has been steadily increasing its workforce and capabilities for the past 10 years and we now have teams capable of delivering projects up to £5million in value.
On the back of this growth our directors feel it’s now the time to invest in heavier plant to reduce our reliance on hired in equipment and demonstrate our further commitment to this sphere of the construction industry.
Last week, Karl GreatRex, the driving force behind the civils team, received delivery a new 13 tonne Case CX130D excavator at one of our sites in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire.
The machine, purchased from Robert Coates (Plant Sales) Ltd, was immediately put to work and has been operating on the site since, as we continue the work on a new sports facility.
Sandycroft’s movement into the civils sector has been a key factor in our success over recent years. This has enabled us to reduce our cost base and improve our competitive offer to customers.
If you’d like to talk to the Sandycroft team about your civils project, or any other type of construction scheme, please get in touch via our contacts page or call 01782 210440.
